What happens at the Faculty Crossing?
The Faculty Crossing's primary use is collaboration. The Crossing is a comfortable place to brainstorm with co-authors, plan interdisciplinary partnerships, talk over grant applications, and make connections with colleagues. Visitors are welcome to work independently but are reminded that collaboration is not always quiet!
Periodically, the Faculty Crossing will be reserved for special events. A calendar listing of these events can be found here.
Who can use the Faculty Crossing?
The Faculty Crossing is open to faculty and teaching staff of all appointments from IU Indianapolis, IU Columbus, and IU Fort Wayne. The Crossing is not open to students.
How do I access the Faculty Crossing?
Faculty and teaching staff can access the space by swiping their Crimson Card on the reader next to the door. The Faculty Crossing is open during regular library hours.
Can I reserve the Faculty Crossing for my meeting?
In an effort to promote collaboration, reservations are kept to a minimum. When the space is reserved, we ask that the organizers make efforts to share the space.
