The Digital Teaching Repository is a peer-reviewed, online archive of instructional materials created by educators at IU Indianapolis, IU Columbus, and IU Fort Wayne. The Repository will include syllabi, video tutorials, in-class activities, and other practical teaching artifacts. All entries are indexed by ScholarWorks which provides powerful data analytics and an international reach.
Submit to the Digital Teaching Repository
The editors of the Digital Teaching Repository invite submissions from all disciplines on a rolling basis. All submissions undergo a blind, peer-review process conducted by teaching experts from FACET and the Center for Teaching and Learning.
While they welcome all instructional materials, the editors are particularly interested in:
- Syllabi
- Assessment and evaluation instruments
- Activities that promote student reflection and/or “pre-flection”
- Innovative applications of Canvas (e.g. inventive modules or quizzes)
- Materials that promote high impact practices
When submitting, authors are asked to respond to a series of prompts that solicit contextual information about the teaching materials (see submission form for details). The online submission dashboard autosaves responses allowing authors to complete the prompts over multiple sessions.
Submissions are limited to faculty and teaching staff employed at IU Indianapolis, IU Columbus, and IU Fort Wayne. The editors welcome submissions from instructors of all appointments and ranks. Lecturers, professors, clinical professors, teaching staff, and all other full or part time university employees are encouraged to submit. Unfortunately, we do not accept materials from graduate students at this time.
